Niels Rosing-Schow featured on new album Danish Resonances

Niels Rosing-Schow’s Spiral Ladder is featured on Danish Resonances, a new album by accordionist José Valente, released by Dacapo Records on 9 October 2026.

Originally composed in 1997 for accordionist Geir Draugsvoll, Spiral Ladder receives its world premiere recording on the album.

The release brings together works by established Danish composers, including Hans Abrahamsen and Per Nørgård, alongside four newly commissioned compositions. The programme explores the expressive possibilities of the accordion across different generations of Danish composers.

The album is available through Dacapo Records.
